Cranbrook RCMP is asking for the community’s assistance in connection with an ongoing investigation into a recent spike in graffiti in the area.

Police are requesting that anyone who has been affected by recent graffiti incidents contact the Cranbrook RCMP at 250-489-4371 to report the date, approximate time, and location of the graffiti mischief, if you have not already done so.

Affected community members are also encouraged to provide information in writing regarding the cost of remediation and the impact to their property or business to help determine the total cost of this ongoing issue.

Investigators believe that there are individuals in Cranbrook who know the identity of the perpetrator of these extensive crimes, and with the community’s assistance, the perpetrator can be positively identified, a complete investigation will be forwarded to Crown Counsel and they will be held accountable.
