Cranbrook SAR salutes masks donors

Mike Hambalek

In August 2021, Cranbrook Search and Rescue (SAR) was approached by Mike Hambalek of Caliper Safety with Viral Clean wanting to donate KN95 masks.

Originally, we were able to secure enough for East Kootenay teams, and were just waiting for the shipment to arrive.

Fast forward to December, Viral Clean then offered a pallet of 25,000 masks. We quickly connected with BCSARA and passed it to them to coordinate the donation.

We at Cranbrook SAR would like to thank Mike Hambalek for his continued support over the years.

As well as a huge thank you to Viral Clean for this amazing donation supporting all of B.C.’s Search and Rescue volunteers.
