Firefighter families raise $1,674 for Fort McMurray

A whopping $1674.61 was raised Sunday by the Cranbrook Firefighters Association, and their families in an effort to raise funds for the community of Fort McMurray.

Fire Hall Family Hot Dog Sale 1In response to the recent wildfire that led to the evacuation of the Fort McMurray community, many members of our local firefighting family have expressed a desire to offer support. Our kids, in particular have been touched by this emergency, and have asked how we can help. A hot dog barbecue was held by donation on Sunday, May 15 at the Fire Hall.

All cash donations will be going to the Red Cross in support of the Fort McMurray emergency.

The Cranbrook Firefighters Association is extremely grateful to this very generous community in their support for this cause. Thank you!
