First day of school at KCA
Kelsey was excited on her first day back to school to see Mrs. Tompkins return as an education assistant at Kootenay Christian Academy. Kelsey is one of the 161 students, preschool to Grade 9, attending KCA.
On the first day of school parents met for refreshments in the library and received information about the school while the students attended classes. Parents and students attended an assembly in the gym at 10:30 a.m. The principal introduced the staff, outlined some expectations and provided a word of encouragement and a challenge to start off the year. Students were dismissed at 11 a.m.
