Full pat-down warning for upcoming concert

The City of Cranbrook/Western Financial Place this morning announced that concertgoers attending the Nov. 27 Offspring / Sum 41 concert will be subjected to security measures at the door.

“As our guest, it is important for you to know that there will be a full pat-down search prior to entering the facility for the Offspring/Sum41 show. Patrons who refuse to submit to a pat-down search will be refused entry. No large bags or backpacks will be allowed into the facility. All purses and small bags will be subject to a search prior to entry,” the city noted in a media release.

Please also be advised that there will be a strict no re-entry policy during the show, the city continued.

“If a patron chooses to leave the facility at any time during the show, they will not be permitted back into the facility. All these measures are to ensure the safety of all our patrons and staff taking part in the concert event.”
