Funds and a little hell raised by firefighters n friends

Over $10,500 was raised for the B.C. Firefighters’ Burn Fund during the Cranbrook Professional Fire Fighters Local 1253’s sixth annual Fall Bash Oct. 27.

A sold-out Columbo Lodge was once again filled with all variety of costumed revellers, enjoying the famous Columbo Lodge meatballs and spaghetti, dancing, bidding on a wide array of silent auction goods and vying for some top notch prizes.

“A big shout out to Pacific Coastal Airlines for supporting our Fall Bash again with two round trip tickets to Vancouver. Pacific Coastal Airlines has provided trip tickets for the last six years of the Bash as well as numerous other events we have hosted in the past,” the Fire Fighters stated. “Next Northstar GM – Tradition of trust in Cranbrook has yet again came through as a major corporate donor. Northstar has a history of over 20 years supporting firefighter supported charities. Also a sincere thank you to all the various other small business that continue to support our charity work; we could not raise the funds we do with out your support.”
