Gift of Giving lit up downtown Cranbrook
Downtown Cranbrook lit up during the 43rd Annual Santa Claus Parade Friday, November 29, with the theme ‘The Gift of Giving.’
The only thing missing was the usual snow that normally provides windrow views along Baker Street. In fact, this year’s parade must rank as one of the balmiest on record – with the several thousand on hand to take in the event appreciative of the warmer-than-normal conditions.
JCI Kootenay once again organized the parade, while Northstar GM and The Bedroom Furniture Galleries served as headline sponsors. Net proceeds of the event go to the Cranbrook Food Bank.
