Glow continues from Hometown for Hunger

The Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies and Cranbrook’s Salvation Army are still feeling the glow from Hometown for Hunger 2019! Today, Rene Kowalchuk and Steve Zsillei presented Denham Ford (B.C.) Ltd.’s $1,000 matching donation to Michele Bates (Community Foundation Board Chair) and Nancy Lemire (The Salvation Army – Cranbrook Community Ministries Coordinator).

With the additional $1,000 matching donation from East Kootenay Community Credit Union – EKC, the updated fundraising total for this year’s event is now over $4,600!

The Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies welcomes donations to the East Kootenay Community Credit Union – EKC Endowment Fund year-round. Online donations can be made via this link.
