The Mount Baker Secondary School (MBSS) senior girls’ volleyball team (pictured above) won the Selkirk Senior Girls Invitational this past weekend.

The MBSS junior girls finished second in the East Kootenay Finals and made Jaffray earn their win with two close games (25-18 and 20-21) ending their season with a good run.

The junior boys finished first in the East Kootenay Finals, beating Creston in two games.

MBSS athletes have a bit of a break until November 23/24. (They are looking at moving the dates to Thursday/Friday) for the Senior Girls/Boys MBSS Tournament) and then both senior teams as well as boys soccer are off to the provincials in the last week of November.
