About 10-12 carloads of people beeped their way past East Kootenay Regional Hospital yesterday afternoon in a show of support for health care workers.

Liberal Party candidate for Kootenay-Columbia Robin Goldsbury and her team organized the drive-by Parade of Thanks as a response to recent protests staged at the EKRH and elsewhere in the province.

“We wanted to demonstrate that politics can be positive, unified and inclusive.  Thanking those who work so hard to keep us safe seemed a wonderful way to do it,” said Goldsbury.
