Key City Theatre, in partnership with the City of Cranbrook, is thrilled to announce our Key City Theatre Youth Performance Camp. Dive into the dazzling world of theatre over two action-packed weeks where imagination takes center stage.
What’s in store?
Explore and Express: From captivating acting techniques to the vibrant art of costume and set design, our camp offers a comprehensive journey through the theatrical arts.
Star in a Show: Every participant gets their moment in the spotlight! Culminate your adventure with a spectacular end-of-camp performance on the prestigious Key City Theatre stage.
Learn from the Best: Experienced instructors will guide you through every step, ensuring a fun,
supportive, and educational environment.
Make New Friends: Theatre is all about teamwork. Connect with fellow actors, create lasting
friendships, and be part of an unforgettable ensemble.
Your Theatrical Journey:
Week 1: Embark on a thrilling exploration of acEng, script reading, and character creation. Develop your stage presence and get creative with costume and set design workshops.
Week 2: It’s showtime! Rehearse and perfect your performance, experience the excitement of dress rehearsals, and shine under the stage lights in front of an audience.
Special Highlights:
Final Performance: Showcase your talent and hard work in a final performance for family and friends.
Dynamic activities: Engage in daily warm-ups, theatre games, and interactive exercises designed to spark creativity and confidence.

When: March 18 – 28 (Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
Where: Key City Theatre, City of Cranbrook.
Age Group: eight-14 years.
Registration: $340.
