Lions supporting Easter Seals with second 50/50 raffle
The Cranbrook Lions Club is selling 50/50 online raffle tickets to help support Easter Seals Camps and Easter Seals House.
“We’re very excited to join this virtual fundraiser for a second time and help raise funds for one of our club projects,” said Pat Moore, Cranbrook Lions Club President. “Last spring’s raffle came to $33,250, and who wouldn’t want to win half that jackpot!”
Raffle tickets are on sale for: three for $10; 15 for $20; 35 for $40; and 100 for $100, and will be available for purchase HERE until midnight November 16.
With every ticket purchased, funding will ensure campers receive the onsite support they need, receive healthy meals and snacks, and have access, equipment and supplies for a full camp program whether it’s in person or virtually at home.
“Easter Seals Camps provide a lot of fun and skills to campers with disabilities. There are three physical camps for kids and adults with disabilities across the province, and they also have virtual camps and year-round online classes,” added Moore. “And for people in our community needed to travel to Vancouver for medical treatment, they also provide a home-away-from-home at Easter Seals House which is located close to all the hospitals.”
To purchase a ticket, you must be 19 years of age or older and a resident of British Columbia. The winning ticket will be drawn at noon on November 17.
