Local Toastmasters celebrating 45 years

Cranbrook First Toastmasters, No. 3532, is celebrating 45 years as a Toastmasters International Chartered Club.

Over these many years we have taken on the role of supporting people to be better communicators and better leaders in this community.

Our club is hosting a Pot Luck Dinner and Open House meeting on January 25 to start this year of celebration.

Pot Luck Dinner will be offered at 6 p.m., January 25 in Room 147 near the Lecture Theatre at the College of the Rockies. The Toastmasters meeting will start at 6:45 p.m. in Room 250 Lecture Theatre. We will open with introductions, presentations by dignitaries and then conduct a Table Topics session.

There will be an Educational about the new Pathways Learning Experience which Toastmasters International is rolling out in District 21 in March.

After the TT session we will have speech presentations and wrap up the evening.

We are planning to host other events through 2018 to recognize the valuable training Toastmasters clubs provide to those who participate in meetings and events. We will keep you on our mailing list as these events roll out.

Please RSVP to Kathleen Simon at 250-489-2526 or return email [email protected]
