The City of Cranbrook this morning reported new trees will be planted this week at the Muriel Baxter Dog Park.

The work will temporarily close the park during the day on Thursday and Friday, May 21 and 22.

The dog park gates will be closed from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the public’s safety as city staff plant the new trees.

Dog owners can still utilize the Moir Park Dog Park during the temporary closure.
