Nolan Wiebe made a tremendous difference
Letter to the Editor
Every so often we are blessed to come across individuals who shine so much light that they illuminate the path for everyone around them. Their kindness is infectious, brings out the best in all of us and allows us to forget, even if just for a moment, life’s deepest worries.
History will record the past months as the challenge of a generation; a difficult time for humanity and yet in the midst of it, Nolan Wiebe used his voice at the Tim Hortons in Cranbrook to shine a light and spread happiness and joy.
He brought hope to thousands at a time when many struggled and is a shining example of the truth that a single voice can make a tremendous difference to the world around them.
Sadly, our community lost Nolan recently, and today, on behalf of all those whose spirits he effortlessly lifted, I wish to acknowledge his life and thank him for leaving us with an example of how each of us can make a difference every day.
On behalf of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition and the residents of Kootenay-Columbia, I offer my deepest condolences to the family of Nolan Wiebe.
