OCP and zoning amendments go to public hearing June 13
City of Cranbrook council May 30 gave second reading to a proposed OCP amendment and first reading to a proposed zoning amendment to allow changes to the land-use designation and zoning of a property on 6th Street NW.

A Contract to Purchase has been signed by Bain Development Ltd.
The proposed OCP amendment bylaw and Zoning amendment bylaw will be referred to the Advisory Planning Commission for a recommendation, and a public notice will be advertised and circulated to adjacent landowners and occupants for comment as part of the required public notification.
The public hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, June 13.
