Interior Health Jan. 17 added Cranbrook’s Joseph Creek Village to its ongoing list of ‘Health Facility Disease Outbreaks.’

The COVID-19 outbreak is in assisted living/independent living wing in long-term care.

This outbreak follows a gastrointestinal illness outbreak reported in long term care/first floor of Kootenay Street Village on Jan. 15.

When an outbreak is over, the facility is removed from Interior Health’s list.
