Quench your thirst for books and brews

Second annual En Cervisia Novellus

Brews, books and author readings all add up to an evening of entertainment and enjoyment. That’s the relaxed format for the second annual En Cervisia Novellus (Books & Brews), hosted by Lotus Books.

It will be held downstairs at the Heid Out Restaurant and Fisher Peak Brewing Company on Saturday, April 29 at 7 p.m.

The event is being put on by Erin Dalton, owner of Lotus Books and appropriately, April 29 is also “Authors for Indies” day which her independent bookstore will be celebrating all day in-store.

The evening of books and brews will see a pairing or matching of books with fine brews. So authors will read brief passages from their books which will be complimented by a corresponding Fisher Peak brew.

No price of admission, complimentary samplings of beer will be available and additional brews can be purchased. Space is limited so call Lotus Books to reserve a place at 250 426 3415 or email [email protected]

Come and enjoy an evening of books, brews and author readings. Quench your thirst literally and literately.
