RCMP hunting for hit and run driver
Cranbrook RCMP is on the lookout for the driver of a pickup truck involved in a hit and run with a speed reader board this morning.
Police are asking the public to watch for a black F150 pickup with a stolen B.C. license plate DK5 869.
It was involved in a hit and run with a speed reader board around 9:30 a.m. on Victoria Avenue.
RCMP advise residents to check their vehicle license plates “as there are related plates being swapped out,” a police tweet noted.
