RCMP investigating after hit and run causes serious injuries
Cranbrook RCMP is investigating after a male was run over by a pick-up truck on February 24.
Around 3 p.m. on February 24, police were called to the 1300-block of Theatre Road. On attendance a man was being treated by BC Emergency Health Service personnel. The male, a 46-year old resident of Cranbrook, was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries to his lower body.
“RCMP were advised that a verbal altercation had occurred prior to the man being run over. Police were also advised that there were two males and one female associated to the pick-up truck. We are seeking additional witnesses or dash camera footage from the area,” said Cst. Katie Forgeron.
