Reward growing for dog poisoner info
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for poisoning dogs in Cranbrook’s Community Forest.

Three dogs were poisoned and killed in separate incidents in the Community Forest in October.
As the disturbing crimes remain unsolved, East Kootenay Crime Stoppers has teamed up with BC SPCA East Kootenay to offer a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. In an interesting twist, donations are being accepted that will be applied to the reward, with the intent of growing it and capturing the public’s attention.
If an arrest is not made by Nov. 30, the reward will be donated to the BC SPCA East Kootenay.
“This is a community effort as the amount of the reward will be determined by the citizens of Cranbrook and area,” said Cst. Eric Ausman, Program Coordinator of East Kootenay Crime Stoppers.
