Rockies Film Series double feature this eve

Keira Knightly stars in Colette.

Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary Club’s Rockies Film Series presents a double feature tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Key City Theatre.

Thanks to Huckleberry Books (formerly Lotus) for their support and sponsorship of our the series, special pricing is in effect; attend one movie for $12 or both movies for $20!

The first feature at 6:30 p.m. is Sharkwater: Extinction.

The film is a thrilling and inspiring action-packed journey that follows filmmaker Rob Stewart as he exposes the massive illegal shark fin industry and the political corruption behind it — a conspiracy that is leading to the extinction of sharks.

And at 8:30 p.m. is Colette, a movie about author Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette who agrees to ghostwrite a semi-autobiographical novel for her husband. Its success soon inspires her to fight for creative ownership and overcome the societal constraints of the early 20th Century.
