Salute to Seniors 2019 campaign underway

The Cranbrook Health Care Auxiliary (CHCA) is a registered B.C. Society Charitable Organization, with a mandate to fund equipment that will add to the comfort and care of patients at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital and the FW Green Home.

We receive donations and support from our community at our Thrift Store on 8th Avenue. In addition, funds are also raised through the support of our Gift Shop at the hospital, our annual Fashion Show and the Tim Horton Smile Cookie Campaign. We also accept cash donations, and in memory of cash donations both of which we are happy to supply the donor with a tax receipt.

“Our organization is 100% operated by volunteers, of which most are seniors. So when the opportunity appeared to provide funding for items related to seniors at both Interior Health locations it was very clear to myself and our Board of Directors what we would spend our money on this year,” said Melanie Dodgson, President of the CHCA. “This could never happen without the continued support of the community, and we want to say thank you for supporting the CHCA.”

Our Salute to Senior’s campaign will provide the following items to Interior Health facilities in Cranbrook.
