Letter to the Editor

I would like to thank a local small business, Ciao Tours, for recently hosting a ‘Ladies Tour’ of Sicily and the Amalfi Coast in Italy. The tour was well thought out and organized in every aspect. The tour drivers were excellent and punctual. All our tour guides were extremely knowledgeable in every aspect and went above and beyond in sharing their particular areas of expertise!

The accommodations were beautifully historical and the check-in process a breeze because of Ciao Tours’ care and planning. They also organized an olive oil farm tour, an agri-farm cooking class, tours of Mt. Etna, Mt. Vesuvius and Pompeii (pictured above)!

I would also like to thank our tour leader, Anna Scavo. She treated everyone with grace and kindness, always looking to see how she could make our time in Italy the best experience possible.

It takes hard work to be a successful small business and that is why I wanted to recognize and thank Ciao Tours for being one of them!
