Three local teams in Hometown Hockey Cheer contest

Rogers Hometown Hockey is in Cranbrook Feb. 18 and 19, bringing the centre of the hockey universe to the Key City for two days.

Part of the fun is the Rogers Cheer Like Never Before Contest, which has three Cranbrook Minor Hockey Association teams taking part; the Atomic Crush (Atoms House); Atom Vipers (Atom House) and East Kootenay Knights (Peewee girls).

The Cheer Like Never Before contest allows minor hockey teams to upload a video of their team cheer, with the top five vote-getters invited to take part in the festivities when the Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour visits Cranbrook on February 18 and 19.

Winning teams will get the ultimate NHL experience, including an NHL Playoff Viewing Party hosted by a surprise NHL Alumni, a surprise equipment package, an on-ice experience hosted by a special guest, and a photo op and meet and greet with an alumni or current NHL player!
