The 31st annual Cranbrook Professional Rodeo August 18-20 at the Wycliffe Exhibition Grounds was another well-attended weekend of wild stampede action.

Cowboys and cowgirls from all over Western Canada, as well as from a few US states, competed in a number of events, including barrel racing, bareback and saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping and bull riding.

Trick rider Shelby Cummings once again wowed the half time crowd, while Wes Cummings kept everyone informed as the Cranbrook Rodeo announcer. The Canadian Professional Rodeo Association Cranbrook Rodeo is part of both the Duane Daines Saddle Bronc Series and the Kenton Randle Bareback Series.
