Healthy Caring Meals held a drive-through bottle drive in front of the Apollo restaurant on Cranbrook Street this past Sunday.

Community members came together to drop off their bottles and cans with all of the proceeds going to support a great cause. By the end of the day, HCM volunteers were able to raise over $1,500 which will be used to fund the supplies needed to cook and distribute healthy meals to those in need.

Healthy Caring Meals was also successful in installing another pantry at Aqanttanam Housing Society located at 2220 2 St S, Cranbrook.

Anyone in need is welcome to use the community pantries to take items or to help stock the pantries.

Healthy Caring Meals is an entirely volunteer run organization which fills an important gap in the food security of many Cranbrook and area residents.
