Water crews with City of Cranbrook Public Works will now be flushing the residential area from 17th Avenue South to 21A Avenue South between 14th Street South and 17th Street South.

Water utility customers can expect to experience some water discolouration periodically as this work is carried out. Most customers may experience discolouration in the water for a short period while this flushing work is done. If you do have discolouration, please run your cold water tap until the water runs clear. This discolouration is not a public health concern.

The annual flushing program is done each year to ensure water mains are clear of sediment in order to provide the best water quality possible to your home and businesses.

The city will continue to provide updates regularly, so you know where the flushing program is moving to next.
