Water customers will be without water in an area of downtown Cranbrook Thursday morning (December 16) due to a water main shutdown.

Residents and businesses in the area from Baker Street to 1st Street South, between 15th Avenue South and 17th Avenue South will be without water service, as crews with Public Works work to isolate and repair a water leak. Crews are enroute and it is undetermined at this time how long water service will be interrupted.

Once water service is restored, affected customers may notice discoloured water.

Please run your cold water tap until your water runs clear.
