Water service to residents in the Park Royal and Panorama Heights area of the City of Cranbrook is currently off, as Public Works crews work to fix a broken watermain.

Water service is expected to be off for three to four hours until repairs can be made tonight (as reported at 8 p.m.).

Once water service is restored, customers may experience discoloured water as sediment will be churned up in the water lines. Please simply run your cold water taps until the water runs clear.

The City of Cranbrook appreciates the patience and understanding of those affected. The city is working hard to restore water service quickly.
