Work closes section of trail
Work has started on the City of Cranbrook-owned portion of the Cranbrook to Wardner Destination Trail.
Trail society members are asking trail users to stay off it from the Isadore Canyon Trailhead for the first five kilometres
Machinery is on site today, grading the section, after which dump trucks will start transporting and dumping gravel.
Trail users are asked to use the Rampart Highway Rest Area and Pritchard Road Trailheads for access for rail trail segments. Work will continue until freeze up and resume in the New Year after spring breakup.
