Work on a new washroom facility at Gyro Park is set to begin on Monday, May 25.

As work gets underway, residents and visitors will start to see activity in the park area around the new washroom location.

Construction fencing will be installed in the green space near the project area, and crews will begin trenching and excavation work for new electrical, water, and sanitary services.

There may be limited parking on 8th Street South while the water connection is completed. The existing washroom is to be removed later this year.

The project has been planned to keep disruptions to a minimum, and court access for both pickleball and tennis will remain available throughout the project work.
