By virtue of the fact that we are on vacation as this item appears in e-KNOW, August 2016 is the best month of the year!

Even though we only had a couple of weeks to bag some images, the opportunities were plentiful as life happened in its always glorious way here in the East Kootenay, especially when we started walking on an almost daily basis in the South Star Recreation Area, the Cranbrook Community Forest/Eager Hill and elsewhere.

This month’s collection of images were taken: Cranbrook and area; Bull River area; Fort Steele Heritage Town and area; Island Lake Lodge near Fernie and the Newgate area.
