College welcomes Tanzanian delegation

College of the Rockies President and CEO David Walls welcomed Mr. Afridon Mkhomoi and Mr. Magu Mabelele from the Shinyanga Vocational Educational Training Authority (VETA) in Tanzania.

College of the Rockies, in partnership with the College of New Caledonia, is working with VETA to help to improve Heavy Duty Mechanics curriculum in Tanzania. While in Canada, Mkhomoi and Mabelele visited the college’s Heavy Mechanical program and facilities, met with instructors and participated in a curriculum development workshop.
