CP Holiday Train brings thrills in the chill for thousands
Thousands of people made their way trackside in Sparwood, Fernie, Jaffray and Cranbrook Dec. 11 to greet the CP Holiday Train on its 19th annual tour across Canada.
The beautifully-lit train once again brought awesome musical talent – with former Great Big Sea frontman Alan Doyle and The Beautiful Band (pictured above) bringing a lively East Coast Christmas feel to the Rockies.
The Holiday Train’s main purpose is to raise funds and food for local food banks and all local communities once again dug deep to help those less fortunate. (If you missed the train, food banks always need support.)
The Holiday Train is stopping in Radium Hot Springs this evening at 6 p.m. It rolls onto Golden for an 8:45 p.m. stop.
