Creston store raises over $10k for Food Hamper program
This year was Sue’s Clotheslines’ 11th annual silent auction to raise fund for the Creston Ministerial food hamper program.
But that is not the only thing the Creston’s women’s clothing store does to raise funds.
Beginning in January and throughout the year Sue’s Clotheslines holds craft sales, book sales, event sales like the Santa Summer Vacation Sale and other events
All of the proceeds going toward the Hamper Program and all funds raised are matched by owner Sue Thomas.
This year the auction raised $10,435. That was added to all the funds raised within the store, and the matching dollars from Thomas, plus the monies and cheques dropped off at the store.
All funds then go to the Creston Ministerial Association. This year, the grand total was $21,164.10
Total monies raised for the Ministerial Association since 2012 is $88,671.76.
