Hands Across the Border

In a time of recklessly directed polarization between Canada and the United States of America, consider a nearby reminder of how closely and cooperatively our two nations have worked together in the past – and will continue in the future.

“Now more than ever, we seek to confirm our commitment to peace and the unique relationship between Canada and the United States. We offer hands across the border,” said Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary Club member David Savage, who shared with e-KNOW a video of cross-border collaboration and unity based around Waterton Lakes National Park, located in the southwestern corner of Alberta.

“We highlight the Waterton Glacier International Peace Park Legacy and Beyond. Almost 100 years as a symbol of peace.”
