Kootenay Community Council seeks board members

Do you have a passion for serving your community and making it more inclusive for all of its citizens? Do you enjoy working with people from a diverse spectrum of abilities and brainstorming new out of the box ideas?

Do you have a couple of hours a month to attend council meetings either in person or on the phone?

If so, you might be interested in joining the board of the Kootenay Community Council for adults with diverse-abilities. We are currently recruiting enthusiastic individuals from the entire Kootenay region; from Trail to Golden and all in between. If you think you have what it takes we would love to hear from you.

Community Living BC, or CLBC, is the provincial Crown corporation that funds supports and services to adults with developmental disabilities, as well as individuals who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and who also have significant difficulty doing things on their own.
