Mainroad will use this information to assess and adjust its level of service to East Kootenay service area communities, the company stated in a media release.

A link to the anonymous online survey is hosted on Mainroad’s Facebook Page with a response deadline of 4 p.m., Saturday, April 20. Participants can complete the survey anonymously. However, if they wish to be contacted by Mainroad, they will need to provide their contact information.

To anyone who does not maintain a Facebook account, here is a copy of the Mainroad Public Survey Link which can also be accessed from its corporate website – www.mainroad.ca.

“We encourage the public to complete this brief survey before the deadline and to freely share it with friends, family and colleagues,” Mainroad stated. “Survey findings will be shared on our Facebook page this fall when Mainroad hosts pre-winter public forums.  Please follow our Facebook page for further details.”

Mainroad is responsible for the maintenance of British Columbia’s provincial highways and roads between Radium Hot Springs (north), Goatfel (west), Alberta (east) and the U.S. border (south).

Please Note: Edgewater and Brisco areas are now part of Service Area 12 and the highway maintenance contractor is Emcon Services.
