Needed medical gear shared by college
Columbia River-Revelstoke MLA Doug Clovechok this evening shared heart-warming news surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
āMy head is spinning, but I’m loving the challenges. I posted last night asking for help to get medical gloves and masks for our hospitals as they are in dire need. The response from our communities has been just amazing,ā Clovechok stated on social media this evening.
āI got word earlier this afternoon that College of the Rockies and their five campuses are sharing a few thousand dollarsā worth of their high-end First Aid training equipment.
āI have also heard from closed dental offices, hairdressers, resorts and the list goes on. Thank you!ā Clovechok stated.
āItās like Margaret Mead said: āNever doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.āā
