SARs unite to locate missing woman
Kimberley Search and Rescue was tasked in the early morning May 22 with mutual aid from Columbia Valley Search and Rescue (CVSAR) and Cranbrook Search and Rescue to locate a missing women up Lussier River.
We are happy to announce she was found healthy and happy!
She had a trip plan in place which allowed a quick response from her loved ones to call 911. The missing subject had ran out of gas and remained with the vehicle she was traveling in which led to a quick search and find.
As always a little friendly reminder – In an emergency call 911 or activate your SOS beacon ASAP and stay in one place.
