SD6 wants input into policy
New webpage makes it easier for members of the school community to send their feedback on school district policy
Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 (SD6) recently completed the 2023-24 to 2026-27 Strategic Plan Engagement Survey.
The respondents told the school district that they want to be more engaged and have direct communication into the policy development process.
To achieve this, SD6 has committed to creating a webpage, complete with a survey for each policy under review.
The school district has promoted this new initiative on its website, SchoolGuide App, and Facebook.
The policies currently under review by the Board of Education are:
- Policy 2900: Naming or renaming schools;
- Policy 2950: Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy;
- Policy 4106: Confidentiality and Conflict of Interest;
- Policy 8600: Field Trips.
