Letter to the Editor

This is an apolitical letter, as it probably wouldn’t change much no matter what party was in power.

First off, let me say, I’m definitely not anti-immigrant, as without them we could not sustain ourselves.

About a week or so ago, the government announced the immigration target for next year was about 460,000, increasing in two years to 500,000.

These are some pretty big numbers and it occurred to me that every day, we hear about homelessness and the terrible housing crisis in our country, so I have to wonder where are these folks going to live?

This might be a simple question from a simple fellow, but wouldn’t you think that with this present situation, it might be time to back off a little until we can get a handle on it?

Just saying.
