Winter and Spring in the East Kootenay 2021
We’ve been producing these photographic looks at the life and beauty of the East Kootenay for 10 years now.
It is a labour of love and we never lose sight of how precious is our southeastern corner of British Columbia.
Life during a pandemic makes it all the more precious, as travel became curtailed and even denied by authorities.
Being travel bugs and explorers, we were able to get our fixes right at home, when we could find the time to get out and about.
To provide some imagery for people overheating and choking on smoke, we’ve merged our winter collection of images with springtime images from around the East Kootenay.
Locations in the following video include: Canal Flats, Cokato, Columbia Valley, Cranbrook, Elk Valley, Fernie, Gold Creek, Invermere, Kimberley, Sparwood, Windermere, Radium Hot Springs, Edgewater, Fairmont Hot Springs, Kootenay National Park, Lumberton and Picture Valley.
