100 Women Who Care Fernie is inviting local women to come together and make a difference at their annual Giving Event on Wednesday, November 6.

This community-based giving circle, made up of women from across the Elk Valley, collectively donates to support local non-profits.

At each event, members nominate charities, share their stories, and vote to direct funds to two deserving organizations right here at home.

Beginning this year, 100 Women Who Care Fernie will move to one annual giving event each November, instead of two gatherings in June and November.

“With volunteers managing logistics, marketing, and communications, focusing on one major event ensures a smoother, more impactful experience for our membership,” said Cindy Pearson, co-founder of 100 Women Who Care Fernie.
