The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Electoral Area A Information Meeting and Volunteer of the Year Celebration is taking place tomorrow, June 23, at Hosmer Community Hall.

The evening begins at 7 p.m. with recognition of Area A’s Volunteer of the Year, Linda Hunter.

Area A Director Thomas McDonald will share an update, followed by updates from RDEK staff on topics including the Accessory Dwelling Unit Planning Process, Hosmer Fire Hall and the Five-Year Financial Plan.

Following the formal presentations, attendees are welcome to connect with staff and visit open house information stations focused on specific projects and services.
