Bear and moose sightings reported on Fernie trails
WildSafeBC Elk Valley today (July 27) alerted the public that bear sightings have been reported by the boardwalks on Ecoterrorism and Forever trails in Montane and on the Coal Discovery Trail.
Additionally, a moose has been reported by the P9 and Lazy Lizard Junction over the weekend.
Hikers and bikers: make noise to warn wildlife of your presence and avoid surprise encounters, especially around blind corners and berry bushes.
