Elk Valley RCMP Report

Elk Valley RCMP responded to 514 calls for service between March 1 and April 21.

RCMP responded to the following calls: nine animal calls; five assaults; three uttering threats against person; three breach of peace; six breach of bail violations; eight cause a disturbance; 28 collisions; two harassing communications; five fraud; 16 Mental Health Act; 70 mischiefs; 43 suspicious persons/vehicles/occurrences; nine thefts under $5,000; one theft over $5,000; one theft of auto over $5,000; two criminal harassments; one possession of methamphetamine; four break and enters to businesses; one extortion; two possession of stolen property; four assist Fire Services; one firearms (unsafe storage); and two public health calls.

Four impaired drivers were also intercepted by Elk Valley RCMP resulting in the following; two-90 Day Driving Prohibitions plus 30 day vehicle impoundments; one-90 Day Refusal; and one three-day Day (Warn) Immediate Roadside Prohibition.
