50-year residents invited to roll in parade
Have you lived in Elkford for 50 years?
In celebration of Elkford’s (belated) 50th anniversary, and to honour the residents who have been community members since the very beginning, the District of Elkford is inviting all 50-year residents to take part in the annual parade!
The district has arranged a bus that will be decorated with banners, and 50-year residents are invited to ride the bus in the parade or walk alongside the bus to greet parade viewers. Additionally, there are designed honourary t-shirts for you to wear during the parade.
The parade is taking place on Saturday, July 2, with a staging/gathering time at 10 a.m. at the Community Conference Centre.
