Development Variance Permit, 3A Intata Road

SMS Equipment, the Development Variance Permit applicant, appeared as a delegation before District of Elkford council Nov. 28 to inform them that if there is any internet disruption they are prepared to raise or relocate the receiver dish. Council approved the variance for the industrial building to vary the height of the building from 12 metres to 19.2 m.

Elkford Five Year Financial Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 726

During the summer and fall of 2011, work commenced at the District’s Mountview Cemetery in preparation for the Columbarium capital project. This work, in conjunction with normal maintenance activities, resulted in the total budget for this component exceeding the amount in the  Five Year Financial Plan Bylaw.  The bylaw amendment will allow funds to be re-allocated to cover the project.  The bylaw will be before council for adoption at the December 12 rRegular meeting.

Inaugural meeting

The inaugural council meeting will be held December 5 in the council chambers.  Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting and all open meetings of council.
